Virginia (Holt) Evans

     Virginia (Holt) Evans age 92 of Pickett County Care and Rehab passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the Pickett County Care and Rehab.

     She was born August 21, 1924 in Overton Co., TN to Curtis L. Holt and Bertie C. (Cross) Holt. She was a member of the Bloomington Christian Church, a factory employee and a past school aide.

     Virginia is survived by (2) Daughters: Judy Lee , Glenda Fout and Husband: Richard ; (1) Son: Richard Bryce Evans and Wife: Cassie ; (1) Sister: Martha Craven ; True Friend: Ruby Taylor ; (7) Grandchildren , (7) Great Grandchildren and (8) Great Great Grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her Parents: Curtis and Bertie Holt ; Husband: Gilbert Earl Evans ; (2) Sons: Nelson Wayne Evans and Stephen Dale Evans ; (3) Sisters: Bessie Rich, Ruthie Garrett and Anna Mae Hill ; (2) Brothers: Lloyd Holt and Grady Holt; (1) Grandchild: Johnny Curtis Lee. 

     Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. from the Bloomington Christian Church with Bro. Charles Jolly and Bro. Randy Tompkins officiating. Burial will be in the Cross Cemetery. 

* The body will lie in state at Bloomington Christian Church Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. * 

* The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Brown Funeral Chapel *
