Virginia Lynn (Johnson) Kennedy

     Virginia Lynn (Johnson) Kennedy, age 55, of Byrdstown, TN passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

     She was born March 23, 1968 in Albany, KY to Marvin Edgar Johnson and Allie Wilma (Pennycuff) Johnson. She was a housewife and a member of the Stoney Point Baptist Church in Albany.

     Virginia was survived by her Husband: Douglas "Doug" Kennedy; (1) Step-Daughter: Jennifer Glidewell; (1) Step-Son: Jason Kennedy; (6) Step Grandchildren; (1) Sister: Michelle Vaughn and Husband: Kevin; (9) Brothers: Marvin A. Johnson and Wife: Sheila; Joe Johnson and Wife: Louise; Russell Johnson and Wife: Jackie; Edgar Johnson and Wife: Sally; Roy Johnson and Wife: Cindy; William Johnson and Wife: Vicky; Willard Johnson and Wife: Sherry; Charles Johnson and Wife: Karen and Kenneth Johnson; Special Niece: Alicia Kennedy. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her Parents: Marvin Edgar and Allie Wilma Johnson.

     The family chose cremation, with a memorial service being held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. from the Fairview Church in Albany, KY with Bro. J.B. Stinson officiating.

     The family will receive friends on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023 from 11 A.M. until time of the service at 1:00 P.M.
