Noema (Copeland) Matheson

     Noema (Copeland) Matheson, age 94 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Friday, January 20, 2023. 

     She was born August 1, 1928 in Byrdstown, TN to James Martin Copeland and Delia (Amonett) Copeland. She was of the Baptist faith, and a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. 

     Noema was survived by (2) Daughters: Susan Billings and Dale Ford; (2) Grandchildren, (6) Great Grandchildren and (3) Great-Great Grandchildren; (1) Brother: Norris Copeland and Wife: Helen. Also survived by other family members and friends. 

     She was preceded in death by her Parents: J.M. and Delia Copeland; (1) Sister: Naomi Hamby; (8) Brothers: Noel, Noman, Nolan, Norman, Noah, Noble, Ned and Nathan Copeland; (2) Son-In-Laws: Joel Billings and Terry Ford; (1) Grandson: James Ford 

     Funeral services were held Monday, January 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Randy Tompkins and Bro. Rick Cross officiating. Burial was in Amonett Cemetery. 

     Serving as pallbearers were Jordan Cross, Matt Ford, Ben Gwaltney, Tyler Watts, Chad Watts, Tommy King and Keith Bilbrey.
