Nello Lee Conner

     Nello Lee Conner, age 83 of Monroe, TN passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at his residence.

     He was born July 8, 1940 in Monroe, TN to Elmo Lafayette Conner and Bertha Mae (Smith) Conner. He was a member of Barnes Ridge Church of Christ, a school bus driver, logger, farmer and loved to fish.

     Nello was survived by (3) daughters: Regina Reeder and husband: Jeff, Rosie Cales and husband: Jeff, Briania Smith and husband: John; (6) sons: Ricky Conner, David Conner and wife: Elainea, Dwain Conner and wife: Melissa, Tim Conner and wife: Melody, R.J. Conner and wife: Jodi, Joseph Conner and wife: Alivia; (1) foster son: Steven Kennedy; (3) brothers: Lonnie Conner, Junior Conner and Kenny Conner; (32) grandchildren, (44) great-grandchildren; (3) great-great-grandchildren; (5) other foster children. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his parents: Elmo and Bertha Conner; wife: Lula Conner; (2) sons: Ronnie and Brian Conner; (1) grandchild: Adam Conner; (1) foster child.

     Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 12:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Brad Burkett officiating. The burial was in Clark Cemetery in Monroe.

     Serving as pallbearers were Chris Conner, Kevin Conner, Jonathon Conner, Daniel Cales, Jeremy Reeder and Brandon Smith. 

     The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Chapel.
