Joyce Lee (Webb) Absher

     Joyce Lee (Webb) Absher, age 71, of Olympus Dr. in Byrdstown, TN, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Livingston Regional Hospital.

     She was born March 3, 1949 in Byrdstown, TN to Jesse Clyde Webb and Rosie (Cummings) Webb. She was a member of First Christian Church and a homemaker.

     Joyce is survived by (1) Daughter: Dana Maelea Dowdy and Husband: Ronnie ; (1) Son: Kelly Absher ; (1) Sister: Sherry Clark ; (1) Brother: Ted Webb and Wife: Shirley ; (2) Grandchildren: Kyle Dowdy and Wife: Morgan, Hunter Dowdy ; (2) Great-Grandchildren: Zaylynn and Kaison Dowdy. Also survived by cousins,nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her Parents: Jesse Clyde Webb and Rosie Webb.

    In light of the current pandemic and in hopes of keeping family and friends as safe as possible, the Absher family has chosen a private, immediate family only graveside service which was held on Friday, March 27, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Bro. Rick Cross officiating with burial in the Edgefield Cemetery. It is the decision of the family to delay a Celebration of Life service to a later time. That information will be forthcoming, and we hope that her friends and loved ones will join us in worship and celebration on that day.
