Joan (Hill) Clark

     Joan (Hill) Clark, age 68, of Faix Rd. in Byrdstown, TN, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. 

     She was born December 25, 1951 in Moodyville, TN to Willard Bates Hill and June Deloris (Clark) Hill. Joan was a member of Moodyville Missionary Baptist Church, she had been a Registered Nurse at Pickett County Health Department and a Nurse Practitioner at Byrdstown Medical Center. 

     Joan is survived by her Husband of 46 Years: Jimmie Lee Clark ; (1) Son: John Grant Clark and Wife: Tracy ; (1) Brother: Gary Willard Hill and Wife: Debbie ; (2) Grandchildren: Layne and Harleigh Clark. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. 

     She was preceded in death by her Parents: Willard and June Hill ; Father and Mother-In-Law: Dreadmon and Mary Lou Clark. 

     In light of the current pandemic, and in hopes of keeping family and friends safe, the Clark family have chosen a private, immediate family only, graveside service which was held on Saturday May 2, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the Mount Era Cemetery with Bro. Randy Tompkins and Bro. Rick Cross officiating. It is the decision of the family to delay a Celebration of Life service to a later time. That information will be forthcoming, and we hope that friends and loved ones will join them in worship and celebration on that day.
