James "Pete" H Hensley

     James H. Hensley, better known as "Pete", age 77 of Merritt Island, FL passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 at his residence. 

     He was born March 12, 1944 in Byrdstown, TN to Elmer Hurbert Hensley and Mary Belle (Wilson) Hensley. He was a telecommunication engineer.

     Pete is survived by (2) Sons: Christopher Ray Hensley and Wife: Cyndie, John Hensley and Wife: Mercy; (5) Sisters: Cassie Lewis, Beula Appleby, Valarie Tookmanian, Francine Honeycutt and Sandy Duvall; (8) Grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his Parents: Elmer and Mary Hensley; (1) Sister: Jessie Baldridge; (1) Grandchild: Shelby Nicole Hensley.

     Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross officiating. Burial will follow in Beaty Cemetery.

     The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM.
