Bud Claborn

     Earl "Bud" B. Claborn, age 91 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022. 

     He was born January 19, 1931 in Byrdstown, TN to Homer "H.B." Bryan Claborn and Elsie Mae (Mitchell) Claborn. He was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church, a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Navy and was a carpenter. 

     Bud was survived by his Wife: Olene (Kearney) Claborn; (2) Daughters: Reta Crouch and Shirley Palmer; (1) Son: Merle Claborn; (1) Step-Son: Tommy Claborn; (1) Step-Daughter: Linda Lackey; (4) Grandchildren, (10 Step) Grandchildren, (11) Great  Grandchildren; (19) Step Great Grandchildren; (1) Sister: Martha Binkley. Also survived by other family members and friends. 

     He was preceded in death by his Parents: Homer Bryan Claborn and Elsie Mae Claborn; (1) Sister: Mary Means; (2) Step Children: Donald Smith and Geraldine Riley.

     Graveside services were held Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 1:00 PM from Locust Grove Cemetery with Bro. Rick Cross officiating. Burial was in Locust Grove Cemetery. Military honors were provided by Hull-York Chapter 5 DAV.

     Serving as pallbearers were Buddy Palmer, Barry Lackey, Jeff Crouch, Kolton Byrd, Wyatt Bernhard and Pablo Cruz.
