Allene Crouch

     Gracie Allene (Cross) Crouch, age 84 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022.

     She was born May 1, 1938 in Byrdstown, TN to Porter Cross and Effie (Brannum) Cross. She was a member of Bloomington Christian Church, a former garment factory employee and a former waitress at Star Point Resort. 

     Allene was survived by (1) Daughter: Diane Elder and Husband: Fred; (1) Grandson: Heath Elder and Wife: Sara; (2) Special Great-Grandchildren: Dalton and Wendee Elder; (2) Step Grandchildren: Letitia Brewington (Joe), Larissa Buck (Chip); (7) Step Great-Grandchildren: Hanah Brewington, Conner Brewington, Abbi Buck, Kellen Buck, Kayden Buck, Hopelyn Roberts (Ethan); (2) Step Great-Great Grandchildren: Bryson Roberts and Hallie Roberts;  (1) Brother: Jim Cross and Wife: Ruth Ann; (1) Sister: Geraldine Oliver; Sister-In-Law: Betty Cross. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her Parents: Porter and Effie Cross; Husband: Wendell Crouch; (1) Brother: Herman Cross; (1) Sister: Clyo Cross and stillborn twins.

     Memorial services were held Monday, December 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM from Bloomington Christian Church with Bro. Steve McClure and Bro Rick Cross officiating. Burial was in Cross Cemetery.
