Suda Paulette (Mercer) Gunter

     Suda Paulette (Mercer) Gunter age 72 of Pickett Care and Rehab in Byrdstown, TN passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Pickett Care and Rehab. 

     She was born February 17, 1946 in New Castle, IN to Samuel Alex Mercer and Effie Gertrude (Carr) Mercer. She attended Grace Fellowship in Albany, KY and was a homemaker.

     Suda is survived by (3) Daughters: Paulette Maynard and Husband: Freddie , Sharon Slaven and Husband: Mike , Brenda Sims and Husband: Wendell  ; (1) Son: Ronnie Stewart and Wife: Mary ; (1) Sister: Willoudene Smith and Husband: Glen ; (1) Brother: Paul Mercer and Wife: Nikki ; Sister-In-Law: Jama Mercer ; (9) Grandchildren and (19) Great-Grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her Parents: Sam and Gertrude Mercer ; Husband: Junior Lee Gunter ; Great-Grandson: Matthew Thomas Maynard ; (2) Sisters: Barbara Lowhorn and Anna Thompson ; (4) Brothers: R.D., Earl, Carey and Dale Mercer.

     Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Donnie Shelley officiating and burial in the Reedertown Cemetery.
