Edith Marie (Nicholas) Davidson

    Edith Marie (Nicholas) Davidson, age 79, of 612 Lohsl Lane in Frankfort, Indiana, passed away August 18, 2018, at her home in Indiana.

    She was born on May 31, 1939, in Pall Mall, TN to Edgar and Grace (Flowers) Nicholas.  Edith was a member of Williams Chapel Church, loved the outdoors and hunting Ginseng and dry-land fish; she particularly enjoyed spending time with her family.

    Edith is survived by two daughters:  Tammy Melson (husband, John) of Rossville, Indiana, and Stacey Dennis (husband, Joe) of Auburn, Alabama, three grandchildren:  Brittany Schneider (husband, Nick) of Frankfort, IN, Joseph Dennis of Goldsboro, NC, and Amanda Dennis of Auburn, AL, two step-grandchildren:  Matthew Melson and Megan Salem (husband, Ryan), two great-grandchildren:  Sadie and Lilah, two step- great-grandchildren:  Gracie and Kaylee, two brothers:  Willie Nicholas (wife, Dorothy), and Randall Nicholas (wife, Helen), one sister:  Beatrice Evans (husband, Eulis).  She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and other family members.

    Edith was preceded in death by her parents:  Edgar and Grace Nicholas, two sisters:  Dorothy Cross and Lois (Glee) Daniels, three brothers:  Glen Nicholas, Duell Nicholas and Oren Nicholas, one nephew:  Garry Daniels, and one niece:  Amanda Daniels.

Pallbearers:  John Melson, Joe Dennis, Nick Schneider, Joseph Dennis, Jim King and Larry Beaty.

Funeral services will be held on August 23, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Chapel in Byrdstown, TN.  Brother Rick Cross will officiate with burial immediately following in the Williams Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on August 22, 2018, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Chapel.
