Sammy Joe Palmer

    Mr. Sammy Joe Palmer age 68 of Red Hill Church Road in Byrdstown passed away Wednesday July 13, 2016 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born May 15, 1948 in Jacksonville, Florida to Samuel and Wilcie (Laws) Palmer. He was retired from Administration with UCHRA.

     Sammy is survived by his Wife: Sheryle (Zachary) Palmer- Byrdstown, TN; (6) Daughters: Leslie Brown, Joy Palmer (Mark), Tisha Brewington (Joe), Larissa Buck (Chip), Deborah Smith (Matt), Linsey Garrett (Jason); (1) Sister: Bobbie Day (Kenneth), (1) Brother: Mike Palmer (Brenda); (15) Grandchildren:Josh Brown (Ashley), Haley Sizemore (Oliver), Payten and Logan , Palmer, Hopelyn Hannah and Connor Brewington, Abbi Buck, Kellen Buck and Kayden Buck, Carson Smith, Mattie Lynn Smith, Kyleigh Aaron, Karleigh Aaron and Kerleigh Garrett; (1) Great Grandson: Jase Brown; Special Friend: Ethan Roberts. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.He was preceded in death by his Parents: Samuel and Wilcie Palmer; Son-In-Law: Scotty Brown.

     Memorial Services will be held Saturday July 16, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. from the Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Stevan McClure and Bro. Rick Cross officiating .

     The family will receive friends at the Brown Funeral Chapel Saturday July 16, 2016 from 2:00 P.M. until time of the service at 4:00 P.M.
