Avery "Timer" Lee Hassler

     Avery Lee Hassler better known as "Timer" age 89 of Jones Chapel Rd. in Byrdstown, TN passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.

     He was born December 21, 1927 in Byrdstown, TN to Oren Lee Hassler and Leva (Voiles) Hassler. He was a member of the Wolf River United Baptist Church, a Veteran of the WWII serving in the Army - Air Force as a PFC Airplane and Engine Mechanic, worked as a supervisor at Tennessee Highway Department.

     Avery "Timer" is survived by (1) Niece: Phyllis Whittenburg and Husband: Jack ; (2) Great Nephews: Eddie Whittenburg and Wife: Christie , Tommy Reagan and Wife: Robin. Also survived by several great great nieces and other family members and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his Parents: Oren and Leva Hassler ; (1) Sister: Beulah Reagan ; Brother-In-Law: Virdeen Reagan ;  (1) Nephew: Ronnie Reagan ; (1) Great Nephew: Chad Reagan.

     Funeral services will be held Monday, March 20, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. from the Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross officiating and burial in the Lovelady-Sims Cemetery.
