Willie "Duke" Duane Copeland

Willie "Duke" Duane Copeland, age 81, of Gib Moles Road in Byrdstown, passed away Saturday Jan. 9, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born May 30, 1939 in Byrdstown, TN to  Homer Lee Copeland & Monta (Means) Copeland. Duke was employed as a mechanic in the garment factory industry.

Duane is survived by his wife: Magdalene (Johnson) Copeland; (1) son: Tony Copeland and wife Eva; (1)  sister: Laverne Stockton; (1) brother: Harlan Copeland  and wife: Connie; (1) grandson: Dewey Duane Copeland. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Homer and Monta Copeland; (2) brothers; Gerald and Olan Copeland.

Graveside service will be held Tues. Jan. 12, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. from the Huff-Rains Cemetery with Bro. Rick Cross officiating.
