Willie Kay Kennedy

     Willie Kay Kennedy, age 73 of Hillcrest Dr. in Byrdstown, TN passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN. 

     He was born March 26, 1948 in Byrdstown, TN to Cordell Kennedy and Ora (Jones) Kennedy. He was a former dock manager and a veteran.

     Willie is survived by his Wife: Rebecca (Ellison) Kennedy; (1) Daughter: Patricia Cross and Husband: Gary; (1) Son: Russell Kennedy and Wife: Penny; (4) Grandchildren: Neal Kennedy, Karley Schoettle, Kennedy Schoettle, Kamryn Cross. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. 

     He was preceded in death by his Parents: Cordell and Ora Kennedy; Grandchild: Makayla Kennedy; (2) Brothers: Hershel Ray Kennedy and Porter Kennedy; (2) Sisters: Wondell Griffin and Joyce York. 

     Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel. Bro. Randy Tompkins will officiate with burial to follow in Mullins Cemetery. 

     The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
