William Garry Pugh passed on Sunday 5/24 at the age of 78.
Garry leaves behind a son, Joe Pugh (wife Karen Pugh) two sisters Regina Pugh (husband Mike Carr) and Shirley Sells Price (husband Jerry Price) two grandkids Zach Pugh (wife Abbie Pugh)& Darren Pugh (wife Sarah Pugh), three great grandkids (Luna Pugh, Delilah Pugh, & Elliott Pugh) and two nephews (Ryan Sheffield and Jason Sheffield).
Garry was preceded in death by his father (Joe Tom Pugh), sister (Jean Evelyn Pugh), sister Kathy Louise Pugh Sheffield, mother (Mary Alice Lynch Pugh Sells) and step-father (John Sells).
Garry grew up in Clifton, TN was a graduate of Ambassador College in Big Sandy Texas and led a life of a salesman starting with Motorola where he helped to sell into the transition of technologies from two-way radios to the new cellphone tech. Garry then sold cameras that watched space shuttle launches, top gun fighting school, and the nuclear power plant fusion processes. Garry loved animals, enjoyed fishing, Ford galaxy 500's, gardening (green thumb directly from god) and even an occasional beer or two.
Since 2020, Garry kicked cancer in the butt twice beating it back like it owed him rent and emotional damages. That third round, however, proved to be a tougher opponent than even he could overcome.
He was far from perfect, but again who of us is?
We love you Garry
