William 'Bill' Travis Elam

     William Travis Elam, better known as 'Bill', age 86 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Livingston Regional Hospital.

     He was born November 12, 1938 in West Liberty, KY to Victor Elam and Nanny Belle (Gevedon) Elam. He was a member of First Baptist Church Byrdstown, a veteran serving in the U.S. Army and was a former factory employee at Chrysler.

     Bill was survived by his wife: Malinda (Nunemaker) Elam; (1) daughter-in-law: Lisa Elam; (2) grandchildren: Kelsey Elam and Shayla Elam; (1) sister: Loretta Fay Deaton and husband: Frank. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his parents; (1) son: Monty Elam.

     Funeral services were be held Friday, March 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Bill Taylor officiating. The burial will be in Vann's Branch Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers were Kenneth Parks, Mike Livingston, Carey Garner, Jason Garner, Stephen Bilbrey and Tony Marchioue.

     There will be no visitation before the service.
