Vella Imodee (Walker) Zachary

     Vella Imodee (Walker) Zachary, age 88 of Byrdstown, TN, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022 at the Pickett Care and Rehab.

     She was born September 30, 1934 in Byrdstown, TN to Everett Walker and Edith (Garrett) Walker. She was a former garment factory employee, homemaker, and was of the Christian faith.

     Vella was survived by (2) Sons: Larry Zachary and Wife: Phyllis, Michael Zachary and Wife: Patti; (1) Grandchild: Derek Zachary and Wife: Jada; (1) Step-Granddaughter: Leslie Fox and             Husband: Rick; (6) Great-Grandchildren; (2) Step-Great-Grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by her Parents: Everett and Edith Walker, (1) Brother: Corlus Walker; (1) Sister: Ruth Davidson.

     Funeral services were held Wednesday, October, 19, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Melvin Daniel officiating. Burial was in Smyrna Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers were Derek Zachary, Josiah Zachary, Nathan Buck, Mark Reagon, Merle Reagon and Doug Parrigin.
