Troy Winningham

     Troy Winningham, age 83 of Winningham Rd. in Byrdstown, TN passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at the Livingston Regional Hospital. 

     He was born May 16, 1938 in the Robbinstown community of Pickett Co., TN to Clarence Custie Winningham and Martha Causey (Flowers) Winningham. He loved fishing, horses, mules and building wagons. Before retirement, he worked as an inspector for both J.R. Wauford and James C. Hailey Co. and the City of Cookeville.

     Troy is survived by his wife of 37 years: Joyce (Moore) Winningham; (1) Daughter: Teresa Pryor; (2) Sons: Danny Winningham and Wife: Sheila, Darrell Winningham and Wife: Dena; (2) Step-Daughters: Sharon Gillentine and Husband: Mike, Jenny Johnson and Husband: Malcolm; Special Grandchild: Blake Wright; (5) Grandchildren, (2) Great-Grandchildren; (6) Step Grandchildren, (5) Step Great-Grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.

     He was preceded in death by his Parents: Clarence and Causey Winningham; (2) Sisters: Ruthie Hurst and Mae Williams; (6) Brothers: Willie, Willard, Dillard, Herman, Herbert and Lloyd Winningham; Son-In-Law: Joe Pryor; Granddaughter-In-Law: Desiree Wright; Great Grandchild: Annabelle Wright; Step-Daughter: Lori Wagoner.

     Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 3, 2022 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Randy Tompkins officiating and burial in the Winningham Family Cemetery.

     The family will receive friends Sunday 12:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM.
