Obituary
Stanley Edgar Cross, age 71 of Pall Mall, TN passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023 at his residence.
He was born November 14, 1951 in Byrdstown, TN to Hobert Cross and Ada (Brannum) Cross. He was a member of Smyrna Church, a Vietnam War veteran serving in the U.S. Army, and a truck driver for the Pickett County Highway Department.
Stanley was survived by his Wife: Lisa Ann (Lee) Cross; (2) Sons: Brian Cross and Wife: Delaine, Jason Cross; (1) Stepson: Jody Evans and Wife: Jamie; (1) Stepdaughter: Connie Jones; (3) Grandchildren, (6) Step Grandchildren and (5) Step Great-Grandchildren; (3) Brothers: Billy Dale Cross, Jerry Cross and Wife: Ina, Charles Cross. Also survived by other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents: Hobert and Ada Cross; (2) Brothers: Clyde Cross and William Cross.
Funeral services was held Monday, June 5, 2023 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Randy Tompkins, Bro. Rick Cross and Bro. Keith Pryor officiating. Burial was in Lick Creek Cemetery.
Family members served as pallbearers. Serving as honorary pallbearers was Pickett County Highway Department employees.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Chapel.
