Samuel Tillman Jordan

     Samuel Tillman Jordan, age 93 of Byrdstown, TN and formerly of San Angelo, TX passed away Thurday, May 9, 2024 at Pickett Care and Rehab.

     He was born March 7, 1931 in Tyler, TX to Lola Tillman Jordan and Opal Beatrice (Grimes) Jordan. He was of the Baptist faith, a U.S. Army veteran, a Mason and a Shriner. He was a retired Santa Fe Railroad engineer. 

     Samuel is survived by (4) daughters: Mary Twombly, Suzan Rice, Cindy Erwin and Sammie Jordan; (1) son: Garron Jordan; (10) grandchildren, (27) great-grandchildren and (5) great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: Ginger Jordan. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his parents: Lola and Opal Jordan; 1st wife: Patricia Fay Jordan; 2nd wife: Marie Jordan. 

     The family has chosen cremation.
