Ruth Louis Mabry

Ruth Louis (Combs) Mabry, age 95 of Byrdstown, Tennesee passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the Pickett Care and Rehab in Byrdstown.  She was born in Lost Creek, Kentucky to Lee and Lillie (Wells) Combs on June 19, 1929.  She was preceded in death by her husband Roderick Nelson Mabry and her son Phillip Scott Mabry; Brother:  Omer Combs, and Sisters:  Glenna (Combs) Bryant, and Grace (Combs) Gyenes.  She is also survived by her nieces and nephews:  Patricia (Bryant) Johnson, Pamela (Gyenes) Sullivan, Mark Bryant, Timothy Gyenes, James Combs and other family and friends. A special thanks to friends Ken and Jane Parks for their kindness and support.  

Funeral services were held Friday, October 25, 2024 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Kenny Westmoreland officiating. The burial was in Vann's Branch Cemetery.

Family and friends served as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 PM until the service at 2:00 PM.
