Randell Gilbert Logan

     Randell Gilbert Logan, age 86 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Monday, July 7, 2025 at Livingston Regional Hospital. 

     He was born May 3, 1939 in Byrdstown, TN to Jess Logan and Ora (Harding) Logan. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army, and was an automotive mechanic. 

     Randell was survived by his wife: Pearlie Marsliane (Hayes) Logan; (1) son: Gary Logan; (5) grandchildren: Jay Logan (Jenny), Nick Logan (Anne), Josh Logan, Chris Sunter (Molly); Amandi Proffitt; (15) great-grandchildren: Tyler and Keegan Logan, Alanna Russell; Kayla Stibick, Courtney and Savannah Logan; Skye, Seth and Shane Sunter; Harbor Hemphill; Kd Belle, Madelynn and Hawk Logan; Emma and Thomas Proffitt. Also survived by other family members and friends. 

     He was preceded in death by his parents: Jess and Ora Logan; (1) son: Jerry Logan; (1) brother: Carl Logan; (1) sister: Betty Beaty.

     Funeral services were held Friday, July 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jeff Durham officiating. The burial was in Fairview Cemetery with military honors provided by Hull-York DAV Chapter 5 and American Legion Post 137. 

     Serving as pallbearers were Thomas Proffitt, Nick Logan, Josh Logan, Tyler Logan, Keegan Logan and David Beaty. 

     The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 AM until the service at 1:00 PM at Brown Funeral Chapel.
