Randall Cross

     Randall Cross, age 84 of Cordell Hull Memorial Drive in Byrdstown, TN passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center .

     He was born February 14, 1938 in Byrdstown, TN, a very special valentine to Johnnie Cross and Lola (Storie) Cross. After high school, he went to Indiana to find work and after several months he returned to work in the shirt factory. He started as a bundle boy and worked himself up to eventually becoming part owner of the factories. He was a farmer on the side with his wife and children working the farm. When the factories closed in 2002, Randall became a real estate broker and started Cross Realty and Cross Farms Boat Storage. Randall was a member of the Bloomington Christian Church where he served on the board and was  a board chairman for many years. He loved his church family, and seeing the kids whether in Sunday school or VBS.

     Randall is survived by his wife Marilyn Groce, whom he married June 9, 1956 and they had recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Also survived by (1) Son: Robert "Bob" Keith Cross and Wife: Jane; (1) Daughter: Mickie Lynne Cross; (2) Grandchildren: Tyler Cross, Lydia Lanzoni and Husband: Levi; (1) Brother: Ronnie Cross; (1) Sister: Rhuveda Cross. Other survivors include nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and special family: Chaisrimonthon's of Chiang Mai, Thailand.

     He was preceded in death by his Parents: Johnnie and Lola Cross; Infant twin brothers: Wendell and Glendell Cross.

     Funeral services will be held Monday, April 4, 2022 at 1:00 PM from Bloomington Christian Church. Bro. Steve McClure and Bro. Rick Cross will officiate. Burial will be in the Cross Cemetery.

     Memorial contributions in memory of Randall Cross can be given to Bloomington Christian Church building fund.

     The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bloomington Christian Church.
