Ossey "Bobby" Udell Gunter

     Ossey "Bobby" Udell Gunter, age 85, of Dennis Gunter Rd.,in Byrdstown, TN, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the Pickett County Care & Rehab.He was born December 31, 1934 in Byrdstown, TN to Dennis & Ola (Claborn) Gunter. Ossey was a garment factory worker and a member of the Edgefield Baptist Church.

     He is survived by (4) Daughters: Ruby Ann Shoemake (Ronnie), Brenda Gunter, Linda Davis, and Judy Gunter (Ernie Owens); (5) Sons: Terry Gunter (Redda), Jerry Gunter (Velma), Danny Gunter, David Gunter, and Sammy Gunter (Amie); (2) Sisters: Estelle Scott and Mazie Melton; (2) Brothers: Bill and Tom Gunter; (12) Grandchildren; (5) Great-Grandchildren. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

     Bobby is preceded in death by his Parents: Dennis and Ola Gunter; Wife: Ruby Nadean Gunter.

     Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 22, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. from the Brown Funeral Chapel.   Bro. Randy Tompkins will be officiating with burial to follow in the Edgefield Cemetery.

     *Visitation for friends will be held Monday, June 22, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M. In hopes of keeping family and friends safe, visitation will honor social distancing requirements. At this time, no food or beverage can be brought into Brown Funeral Chapel.*
