Orbin D. Logan, age 80 of Jamestown, TN passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
He was born April 27, 1944 in Byrdstown, TN to Claude Webster Logan and Anna Mae (Huddleston) Logan. He lived the past 40 years in Jamestown, TN. He was a brick/ block mason, industrial mechanic, satellite installer, and a founding member of the Sorry Dogs Flying Club. His favorite things to do were to fly model airplanes with his flying buddies and spend time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Webster Claude Logan and Anna May (Huddleston) Logan; son: Michael Logan; great-grandson: Jack Copeland; brothers: Willie D. Logan and Wendell Logan; sister: Charlene Masiongale.
He was survived by his wife: Colleen (Crouch) Logan; son: Richard Logan and wife: Tammie; daughter: Margaret Copeland; grandsons: Jeremiah Copeland (Brinna), Luke Logan; granddaughter: Kaitlin Logan (Adam); great-granddaughter: Amalie Copeland and Wrenley Smith; two sisters: Janice Sells and Shelba Shaver; brother: Harold Logan; brother-in-law: Jeff Crouch. Also survived by other family members and many, many dear friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Ricky Cross and Bro. Wade Givens officiating. The burial was in Smyrna Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Richard Logan, Jeremiah Copeland, Jeff Crouch, Hubert Lester, Sammy Turner, Robert Manis, Gary Stockton and Hobert Hicks.
Memorial contributions in memory of Orbin can be given to the family.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
