Obituary
Nellie Mae (Bond) Logan, age 82 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 17, 1941 in Albany, KY to John W. Bond and Vinnie Pearl (Huddleston) Bond. She was of the Baptist faith, a member of Moodyville Union Baptist Church and a former garment factory employee.
Nellie was survived by (1) Daughter: Nancy Moon and Husband: Danny; (2) Sons: Charlie Logan and Wife: Joette, Gary Logan and Wife: Rhonda; (10) Grandchildren and (9) Great-Grandchild; (1) Sister: Stella Logan. Also survived by other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Parents: John and Pearl Bond; (1) Son: Johnny Logan; (3) Sisters: Katie Neal, Eula Johnson and Nancy Jane Bond; (3) Brothers: Willard Bond, William 'Bill' Bond and Willis Robie Bond.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 1:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Randy Tompkins officiating. Burial was in the Bond Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Keith Bilbrey, James Moon, Matt Moon, John Moon, Billy Logan, A.C. Bilbrey and Justin Logan.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Steve Logan, Robert Bond and Danny Moon.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
