Nelda Louise (Garrett) Copeland

     Nelda Louise (Garrett) Copeland, age 77 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Livingston Regional Hospital. 

     She was born June 21, 1947 in Albany, KY to Yetman Garrett and Delta (Beaty) Garrett. She was a member of Smyrna Church, a partner of Copeland Construction and was a housekeeper. 

     Nelda was survived by her husband: Ernest Copeland; (1) son: Nathan Copeland and wife: Michelle; (7) grandchildren and (5) great-grandchildren; (1) brother: Danny Garrett. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents: Yetman and Delta Garrett; (1) son: Bryan Copeland; (3) brothers: Gerald Garrett, Glyncon Garrett and Garry Garrett. 

     Funeral services were held Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Keith Pryor and Bro. Randy Tompkins officiating. The burial was in Tidrow Cemetery. 

     Serving as pallbearers were Lance Staton, Dalton Johnson, Slayde Copeland, Corbin Copeland, Holden Masiongale and Trevor Copeland. 

     The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 PM until the service at 2:00 PM at Brown Funeral Chapel. 

     The family has requested there be no floral arrangements, memorial contributions can be made to Clark Cemetery Fund or Tidrow Cemetery Fund.
