Mary Lena (Beaty) Lee

     Mary Lena (Beaty) Lee, age 92 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Friday, March 10, 2023 at The Medical Center at Albany. 

     She was born October 29, 1930 in Byrdstown, TN to Jahue Beaty and Margie (Ford) Beaty. She was of the Baptist faith and a former garment factory employee. 

     Mary Lena was survived by (1) Son: Randy Beaty and Wife: Jenni; (2) Grandchildren: Travis Beaty and Jake Beaty; (5) Great-Grandchildren: Travis, Sean, Kylie, Kaylee and Jayden Beaty; (4) Brothers: Cooper Beaty and Wife: Lucille, Ed Beaty and Wife: Linda, Dale Beaty and Wife; Wilma and Frank Beaty. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her Parents: Jahue and Margie Beaty; (4) Brothers: Kenneth, Roger, Chester and Bill Beaty; (1) Sister: Mattiebelle Cowan; Brother-In-Law: Marvin Cowan; (3) Sister-In-Laws: Barbara Beaty, Sue Beaty and Berta Beaty; Niece: Kim Beaty; Nephew: Bill Cowan.

     Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 7:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross officiating. Burial was in Edgefield Cemetery on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 1:00 PM. 

     Serving as pallbearers were Travis Beaty, Travis Beaty Jr., Sean Beaty, Brandon Upchurch, Trevor Beaty and Mike Davis.

     The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM until service time at 7:00 PM.
