Margie Ann Carberry (Carter) 76, of Byrdstown, TN, formerly of Middletown, OH passed away Saturday August 10, after an extended stay at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Her loving husband of 33 years, James Michael "Mike" spent hours at her side.
Margie was a 1965 graduate of Lemon Monroe High School. She lived and worked in Middletown and Monroe most of her life. She attended Mt. Plesant Presbyterian church, where she sang in the choir.
Upon retirement Margie and Mike moved to Tennessee where she enjoyed watching hummingbirds and crowing at her rooster Jake.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Miriam Carter.
She is survived by her husband Mike. Daughter Karen Garitson (Angela Martz), Brother Roger Carter, Grandsons, Eric and Allen Garitson, special niece Julie (Curt) Wood, sister and brother-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.
