Lelon 'Cowboy' Ray Davidson

     Lelon Ray Davidson better known as 'Cowboy', age 64 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Overton County Health and Rehab.

     He was born May 1, 1960 in Albany, KY to James Ray Davidson and Mary Ileta (Smith) Davidson. He was an electrician, and a former deputy at Pickett County Sheriff's Department.

     Cowboy is survived by (1) son: Michael 'Cowboy' Davidson and wife: Chaska;(1) granddaughter: Brookelyn Davidson; mother of his children: Anita Davidson; (2) brothers: Jesse 'Pete' Davidson, Stacy Davidson; (1) sister: Sheila Buck; special friends: Frankie Beason and Jeff Neal; (2) special cousins: Gail and Pammy Jo Riddle. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his parents: Ray and Ileta Davidson; (1) daughter: Jennifer Davidson; (2) brothers: Frankie and Tracy Davidson. 

     The family has chosen cremation and a memorial service will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross officiating. The burial of the cremains will be in Smyrna Cemetery.

     The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until the service at 2:00 PM.
