Larry Dwight Rhule

     Larry Dwight Rhule, age 68 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025 at his residence.

     He was born August 7, 1956 in Byrdstown, TN to Robert Benton Rhule and Ila Lucille (Gunter) Rhule. He was an Emergency Medical Technician and farmer. He was a retired employee with Pickett and Overton County Ambulance Services and a member of Byrdstown Masonic Lodge #496. Larry loved his grandchildren, watching Gunsmoke, Chinese food, farming and fishing. 

     Larry was survived by his wife: Melissa "Missie" K. (Delk) Rhule; (1) son: Bryan Rhule and wife: Melissa; (2) grandchildren: Bryley and Silas Rhule; (2) sisters: Margaret Craig, Velma Pittman and husband: Buster. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Lucille Rhule; (1) son: Joey Rhule; (1) sister: Doreen Smith; (3) brothers: Donnie, Randall and Clyde Rhule. 

     Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Daniel Masiongale officiating. The burial was in Edgefield Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers were Michael Wilson, Chris Masiongale, Tim Ford, Toby Graves, Michael Reynolds and Tyler Ledbetter. 

     Serving as honorary pallbearers were employees of Pickett and Overton County Ambulance Services, and Carrie Garner. 

     The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Chapel.  There will be a Masonic service at 7:00 PM.
