Katherine (Griffin) Buck

     Ora Katherine (Griffin) Buck, age 81 of Livingston, TN passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Livingston Regional Hospital.

     She was born December 7, 1943 in Byrdstown, TN to Herbert Griffin and Wondell (Kennedy) Griffin. She was a member of Wolf River United Baptist Church, a former restaurant employee and garment factory employee. 

     Katherine was survived by (2) daughters: Sherry Buck and husband: Sammy, Tammy King; (1) daughter-in-law: Sheila Buck; (7) grandchildren and (23) great-grandchildren; special caregivers: Cecila Gentry and Nevaeh Davenport, Izzy Davenport; special friend: Kristel Locke; (6) sisters: Margaret Brannum, Nell Johnson, Louise Burton, Doris Logan, Chris Johnson and Virgie Kennedy; (2) brothers: William Griffin and Everett Griffin. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents: Herbert and Wondell Griffin; husband: Kellie Buck; (1) son: Richard Buck; (1) son-in-law: Terry King; (1) great-grandchild: Sawyer Grayce Davenport.

     Funeral services were held Friday, March 28, 2025 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Rigney officiating. The burial was in Tompkins Cemetery. 

     Serving as pallbearers were Nathan Buck, Cody King, Josh Buck, Jonathan Buck, Francis Copeland, John D'Amico. 

     Serving as an honorary pallbearer was Justin Sensabaugh.

     The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 AM until the service at 2:00 PM.
