Joseph "Jody" Wade Tompkins

     Joseph Wade Tompkins better known as 'Jody', age 49 of Monroe, TN passed away Friday, February 24, 2023 at his residence. 

     He was born October 30, 1973 in Cookeville, TN to Ronnie Glen Tompkins and Carolyn (Copeland) Tompkins. He was a member of Bloomington Christian Church and the branch manager at I-RG.

     Jody was survived by his Wife: Sarah Lynn (Cowan) Tompkins; (2) Daughters: Elizabeth Tompkins Phillips and Emma Moody; (1) Son: George Austin Tompkins; (1) Grandchild on the way; Parents: Ronnie and Carolyn Tompkins; (1) Sister Dee Tompkins; (1) Brother: Joshua Tompkins. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM from Brown Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Rick Cross and Bro. Brad Cox officiating. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers were Corey Smith, Richard Radcliff, Will Coots, Dan Koerner, Tim McNutt, Charles Wells.

     Serving as honorary pallbearer was Dan Mullins.

     The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Chapel.
