John L Bilbrey

John L (Johnny) Bilbrey age 69 of Byrdstown passed away Saturday August 22,2020 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center Nashville, TN.

Johnny was born May 31, 1951 in Chanute, Pickett Co. TN. His parents were Ben and Lillian Mansfield Bilbrey. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Bonnie Lou Bilbrey and Brother- in- Law James Rector.

Johnny was well known to most in Pickett Co working as a gas station attendant, store clerk, school bus driver of 29 years and the job he enjoyed most Alderman for the City of Byrdstown.

He is survived by his wife Debra Richardson Bilbrey. Sons Daniel and Benjamin, daughter Lillian Bryant and husband Billy, stepson John Asberry and wife Leann and stepdaughter Erin Asberry Kennard. Grandsons Cody Asberry, Jesse Linder and Cooper Kennard. Brother Joe Bilbrey and wife Barb and sister Judy Rector. Mother in Law Louise Cope, sisters-in-law Pamela Richardson and Lisa Cummings and brothers in law Robin Cummings, Craig Richardson and Danny Richardson along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family has chosen cremation with a private service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bilbrey Cemetery Fund at Peoples Bank in Byrdstown.
