Joey Robert Cook

     Joey Robert Cook, age 56 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Friday, January 17, 2025 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

     He was born October 17, 1968 in Jamestown, TN to Joe Cook and Janice Faye (Storie) Cook. He was a carpenter and truck driver.

     Joey was survived by his wife: Sandra (Jones) Cook; (1) daughter: Sarah Beaty and husband: Josh; (1) son: Daniel Cook and wife: Jessica; (6) grandchildren; (2) sisters: Kim Mattews and husband: Robbie, Tina Rhoton and husband: Dale; (1) brother: Greg Cook and wife: Stephanie. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his parents: Joe and Janice Cook.

     Funeral services were held Monday, January 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM from Brown Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Rick Cross officiating. The burial was in Beaty Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers were Tyler Cook, Timmy Cook, Jr., Ben Martin, Joseph Hailey, Anthony Mathews and Cody Mathews. 

     The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Chapel.
