Joan Lois Poynter, age 75 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN.

She was born January 11, 1948 in Albany, KY to Lenva Herbert Poynter and Golda (Garner) Hicks. She was a former garment factory employee.

Joan was survived by (1) Brother: Harold Poynter and Wife: Martha. Also survived by other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Parents: Lenva Poynter and Golda Hicks; (1) Son: Joel Pritchard; (2) Brothers: Lenva Poynter and Gene Poynter.

The family has chosen cremation and there are no services planned at this time.
