Jimmie Lee Clark

     Jimmie Lee Clark, age 74 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at his residence.

     He was born March 18, 1950 in Byrdstown, TN to Dreadmon Clark and Mary Lou (Harden) Clark. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army National Guard and a retired environmentalist for Tennessee Department of Health.

     Jimmie Lee was survived by (1) son: John Grant Clark and wife: Tracy; (2) grandchildren: Layne Clark and Harleigh Clark; brother-in-law: Gary Hill and wife: Debbie; sister-in-law: Christine Clark. Also survived by other family members and friends. 

     He was preceded in death by his parents: Dreadmon and Mary Lou Clark; wife: Joan (Hill) Clark; (2) sisters: Charlene Smith and Allene Choate; (1) brother: J.Q. Clark. 

     Funeral services were held Friday, September 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Randy Tompkins and Bro. Rick Cross officiating. The burial was in Mt. Era Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers were Layne Clark, Chris Abbott, Talon Hill, Anthony Winningham, Joseph Amonett and John Ballay. 

     The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Chapel.
