Jerry Poore

     Jerry Poore, age 90 of Pall Mall, TN passed away Monday, November 11, 2024 at Pickett Care and Rehab. 

     He was born May 20, 1934 in Forbus, TN to Joe Poore and Lakie (Harmon) Poore. He was a farmer and former Pickett County Highway Department employee.

     Jerry was survived by daughter: Debbie Melton and husband: Junior; (2) grandchildren: Chad Melton and Alesia Hinojosa; (2) great-grandchildren: Reyna Hinojosa and Gabriella Hinojosa; special nephew: Jerry Poore; other nieces and nephews, family members and friends. 

     He was preceded in death by his parents: Joe and Lakie Poore; wife: Shannon (Robbins) Poore; brother: Norman Poore. 

     Funeral services were held Friday, November 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Stacy Evans officiating. The burial was in Williams Chapel Cemetery. 

     Serving as pallbearers were Junior Melton, Jerry Poore, Nicholas Poore, Billy Don Harmon, Buster Harmon and Bill Davidson. 

     The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Chapel.
