James Howard Wood

    James Howard Wood, age 91 of Nashville, TN passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 at NHC The Meadows in Nashville, TN.

    Howard was born July 15, 1930 in Etter, TN to Printis "Print" Howard Wood and Gladys Marie (Conley) Wood. He was a Army veteran serving during the Korean War and was a hardwood lumber inspector.

    Howard is survived by (2) Sons: Gary Wood, Wayne Wood and Wife: Beth; (2) Sisters: Betty Lee and Mary Francis White; (1) Grandchild: Bailey Wood; (1) Brother-In-Law: Dallas Vincent. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

    He was preceded in death by his Parents: Print and Gladys Wood; Wife: Helene Keisling Wood; (1) Sister: Minnie Lou Vincent; (1) Brother: Oren Wood; (2) Brother-In-Laws: John Lee and Bob White.  

    Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Aaron Auiler officiating. Burial will be in the Hatcher Hall Cemetery.

    The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 12:00 Noon until time of the service at 2:00 P.M. from the Brown Funeral Chapel
