Jackie (Laursen) Neal

     Jacqueline Joyce (Laursen) Neal, better known as 'Jackie', age 74 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Pickett Care and Rehab. 

     She was born September 19, 1951 to Llewellyn Laursen and Dorothy (Hunting) Gerritts. She was of the Christian faith, a garment factory employee and caregiver. 

     Jackie was survived by (1) daughter: Dorothy Marie Neal; (3) sons: Michael Neal, Charles Neal and wife: Janice, Matthew Neal; (3) grandchildren and (3) great-grandchildren; (1) sister: Judy O'Connor. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents: Lou Laursen and Dorothy Gerritts; husband: Donald Neal.

      Funeral services were held Friday, December 12, 2025 at 7:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Rick Cross officiating. The burial was Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 12:00 PM in Etter Cemetery. 

     The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 PM until the service at 7:00 PM at Brown Funeral Chapel.
