Jackie Jones

     Jackie Ray Jones, age 79 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026. 

     He was born May 21, 1947 in Albany, KY to Cliant Jones and Pearl (Gunter) Jones. He was a garment factory employee. 

     Jackie was preceded in death by his parents: Cliant and Pearl Jones; wife: Justine (Winningham) Jones; (1) son: Davey Jones; (2) brothers: E.J. Jones, Jerry Jones; (1) infant brother; (2) sisters: Sharon Cross and Norma McCane. 

     Jackie was survived by (2) sons: Dwight Jones (Marilyn), Roger Jones (Tina Brown); (4) grandchildren: Jeremy Jones, Kailyn Riddle, Jonah Jones, Kelsey Jones; (8) great-grandchildren: Tate, Kyndrix, Jace, Brynlee, Easton, Reagan, Jaxson and Kyker; (1) sister: Ann Cook. Also survived by other family members and friends. 

     Funeral services were held Friday, May 29, 2026 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross officiating. The burial was in Winningham Cemetery. 

     Serving as pallbearers were Jeremy Jones, Tate Jones, Jonah Jones, Junior Beaty, Kyle Riddle and Jack Pritchett. 

     The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 AM until the service at 2:00 PM at Brown Funeral Chapel.
