Ina Ruth (Sells) Cross

     Ina Ruth (Sells) Cross, age 82 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Friday, January 24, 2025 at Livingston Regional Hospital.

     She was born December 27, 1942 in Byrdstown, TN to Carlos Sells and Lula (Hassler) Sells. She was a member of Wolf River United Baptist Church, a former garment factory employee and housekeeper at Eagle Cove Resort, and homemaker. 

     Ina was survived by husband: Jerry Doyle Cross; (2) daughters: Cindy Hancock and husband: Bobby, Jeanie White and husband: Jimmy; (1) son: Greg Cross and wife: Michelle; (8) grandchildren and (14) great-grandchildren; (1) sister: Gaye King. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents: Carlos and Lula Sells; (1) sister: Norma Halfacre; (1) infant sister; (5) brothers: Ivan Troy Sells, Eugene Sells, Vernon Sells, Gordon Sells and Bill Sells. 

     Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Jimmy White, Bro. Rick Cross, Bro. Randy Tompkins and Bro. Mike Cooper officiating. The burial was in Smyrna Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers were Chris Collins, Sam Poore, Caleb White, Chad Matthews, Chaney Gooch, Hans Cooper and Cody Muse.

     The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM
