Hack Brown

     James Haskel Brown better known as "Hack", age 95 of Jamestown, TN passed away Monday, October 14, 2024.

     He was born February 27, 1929 in Albany, KY to Casher Brown and Edna (Pritchett) Brown. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force, a farmer and factory employee.

     Hack was survived by his wife: Nellie "Nell" Dean Clayborn Brown; (1) daughter: Vivian Brown; (3) sons: Dickie Brown and wife: Elizabeth, B.D. Brown and wife: Michelle, Bruce Brown; (9) grandchildren, (9) great-grandchildren. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his parents: Casher and Edna Brown; (1) son: Rickie Brown; (1) sister: Helen Brown; (2) brothers: Hewel Brown and Harold Brown. 

     Graveside services were held Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 1:00 PM from Fairview Cemetery with Zack Hull officiating. The burial was in Fairview Cemetery. Military honors were provided by American Legion Post 137 and Hull-York DAV Chapter 5.
