Glen Berry

     Glen Monroe Berry, age 79 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at his residence. 

     He was born February 5, 1947 in Robbins, TN to Jerry Berry and Flara (Griffith) Berry. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Army, a former correctional and law enforcement officer.

     He was preceded in death by his parents: Jerry and Flara Berry; (1) sister: Ruth Stoll; (4) brothers: Odell, Winton, Frankie and Dennis Berry.

     Glen is survived by his wife of 55 years: Emily N. (Einarsson) Berry; (2) daughters: Deborah Cardente and husband: Richard, Jennifer VanBuren and husband: Chris; (4) grandchildren: Andrew Crump, Richard Cardente, Matthew Crump and Braeden Crump; (1) sister: Opal Clayborn; (1) brother: Jimmy Berry; (4) nephews: Jerry DeMetro and wife: Melissa, James DeMetro and wife: Monica, Bernie Copeland and wife: Jennifer, Wayne Clayborn and wife: Aimee. Also survived by great nieces and nephews, other family members and friends. 

     The family has chosen cremation, and there are no services planned at this time.
