Gilbert Terry Ford

     Gilbert Terry Ford, age 69, of Redbud Road in Byrdstown, TN, passed away Friday, May 8, 2020 at his residence.

     He was born March 19, 1951 in Albany, KY to Gilbert Henry Ford and Lynnie Kathleen (Flowers) Ford. Terry attended church at Fairview and Smyrna. He was a self-employed sanitation worker.

     Terry is survived by his Wife of 48 Years: Dale Ann (Matheson) Ford; (2) Daughters: Lauren Gwaltney and Husband: Scott, Eliza Watts and Husband: Chad; Daughter-In-Law: Tonya Ford; Mother-In-Law: Noema Matheson; (1) Sister: Patricia Davidson; Sister-In-Law: Susan Billings; (6) Grandchildren; (1) Great-Grandchild. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other family members, and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his Parents: Gib and Kathleen Ford; (1) Son: James Henry Ford; (1) Brother: Randy Ford; (1) Sister: Karen Ford Melton; Brother-In-Law: Joel Billings.

     In light of the current pandemic, and in hopes of keeping family and friends safe, the Ford family have chosen a private, immediate family only, graveside service which was held on Monday, May 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the Smyrna Cemetery with Bro. Randy Tompkins and Bro. Rick Cross officiating. It is the decision of the family to possibly have a Celebration of Life service at a later date. That information will be forthcoming, and we hope that friends and loved ones will join them in worship and celebration on that day.
