George Benton Beaty

     George Benton Beaty, age 87 of Pall Mall, TN passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 at The Medical Center at Albany. 

     He was born March 21, 1938 in Albany, KY to Robert H. Beaty and Malinda V. (Smith) Beaty. He was a member of Parker Community Church and was a former forklift driver. 

     George was survived by: (5) daughters: Diane James, Georgie Jones, Pat Songer (Brian), Georgie Beaty, Chrissy Beaty; (2) sons: David Beaty (Jenny), Gilbert Beaty (Susan); (1) step-daughter: Torina Brown (Ed), (2) step-son: Dickie James Beaty and Denny Beaty; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; (6) sisters: Virgie Sloan, Mary Claywell, Dean Claywell (Junior), Helen Clark, Brenda Turner (Mike), Kaye Young (Mike); (2) brothers: Ted Beaty, Lester Beaty (Linnie). Also survived by other family members and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Malinda Beaty; first wife: Betty Jean Beaty, second wife: Lois Beaty; (1) son: Steve Beaty; (2) daughters: Connie Beaty and Linda Harty; (2) grandchildren: Leanora Beaty and Jesse James; (1) sister: Elizabeth Beaty; (1) brother: Darwin Beaty; (3) brother-in-laws: Kenny Sloan, Bill Claywell and Lynn Clark. 

     Funeral services were held Friday, June 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Stacy Evans officiating. The burial was in Maupin Cemetery. 

     Serving as pallbearers were David Beaty, Trevor Beaty, Jason Beaty, Steven Beaty, Nathaniel Beaty, Jimmy Harty, Jerry James, Randy Randolph and Frank James. 

     The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 AM until the service at 2:00 PM at Brown Funeral Chapel.
