Gene Story

     Jimmie Eugene "Gene" Story, age 87, of Byrdstown, TN passed away Friday, August 11, 2023 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.

     He was born in Cookeville, TN on March 28, 1936 to Coe and Opal Mildred (Sells) Story. He was a truck driver and a member of the Byrdstown Masonic Lodge # 496.

     Gene was survived by his Wife: Connie (Crockett) Story; (1) Daughter: Heather Garrett and Husband: Jason; (1) Son: Micah Board; (3) Grandchildren: Jacob Board, Elizabeth Board and Jaxton Smith; (2) Sisters: Janet Kuykendall and Husband: James and Sue Huff. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his Parents: Coe and Opal Story; First Wife: Dewilla " Tootie" Story; Brother-In-Law: Bill Huff.

     The family has chosen cremation, and there are no services planned at this time.
