Estelle (Gunter) Scott

     Norma Estelle (Gunter) Scott, age 91 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024 at her residence.

     She was born April 6, 1933 in Byrdstown, TN to Dennis Gunter and Ola (Claborn) Gunter. She was a member of Smyrna Church, a garment factory employee and homemaker.

     Estelle is survived by (3) daughters: Carolyn Painter and husband: Donnie, Helen Benningfield, Debbie Cummings; son: Kenneth Scott and wife: Patricia; (9) grandchildren, (17) great-grandchildren and (2) great-great-grandchildren; (2) brothers: Tom Gunter and wife: Sue, Bill Gunter. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents: Dennis and Ola Gunter; husband: Gib Scott; sister: Mazie Melton; brother: Bobby Gunter.

     The family has chosen cremation and will have a private memorial service at a later date. The burial will be in Etter Cemetery.
