Douglas Cole Sells

       Douglas Cole Sells, age 17, of Highland Ave. in Byrdstown, passed away in Byrdstown on Friday, July 5, 2019. He was born Aug. 1, 2001 in Knoxville, TN to Douglas Eugene Sells and Sarah (Parris) Sells. He attended the Byrdstown First Christian Church. He loved to play basketball, football, love to hunt and work with his dad. Cole was a senior at Pickett Co. High School.

      Cole is survived by his Mother and Step-Father: Sarah and Devin "Bubba" Storie; Father and Step-Mother: Douglas Sells and Julia Sells; Grandparents: Charles Parris and Scotty Sells; (1) Sister: Victoria Sells; (5) Brothers: Slayde Copeland, Landon Sells, Bradyn Storie, Knox Sells and Holden Masiongale; Special Cousin: Lexie Parris. Also survived by other cousins,aunts, uncles,other family members and a host of friends.    

      He was preceded in death by (1) Sister: Shelby Sells; Grandfather: Steve Mullinix.

      Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. from the Pickett Co. High School in Byrdstown with Bro. John Stone officiating. Burial will be in the Parris Cemetery.

      The family will receive friends at the Pickett Co. High School on Monday, July 8, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.  

    Memorial Contributions In Memory of Cole Sells may be made to the "Cole Sells Scholarship Fund" and may be left at Brown Funeral Chapel.
